Rental Open Inspections

Going to an open inspection for a rental home for your first time can be daunting. You may just be moving out of home, just sold your house or have relocated. To help you with a few FAQ’s we asked around the office and these are some of the hot tips the agents came up with:

  • Don’t park in the driveway at opens
  • Wipe your feet before going inside
  • Have your ID with you as you may be asked to present it (don’t be offended it is for security purposes only)
  • Introduce yourself to the agent
  • Don’t open cupboards and drawers if the property is not vacant
  • Be honest – we believe in second chances
  • Attach of photo of your family and pets to your application so we know who you are
  • Ask before taking photos of the property
  • Present yourself neatly and tidy
  • Be friendly
  • Bring a family member with you for a second set of eyes and support

Our team of Property Managers are friendly and approachable so feel free to get in touch with them if you have any questions (if they can’t answer them, they will find out for you).
